Love or betrayal

I live in family where parents don't like each other. Mother betray father. Father don't look at her - his life only in computer games. I don't think that it's normal relationships.

I can't understand other situation: for what betray your partner if you love him/her? Or people do not understand meaning of love?

I hate lies. I hate when people can't say the truth - they say nothing before you will find out all on your own cause they think that you'll never find out it. I think that this is the most awful betrayal. I can't forgive this.
